Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our state of art practice in New Kensington, PA. We offer general and cosmetic procedures including Implant, Root canal, Denture, and cosmetic restorative procedure. Our patients are mainly with fee for service or major PPO plans.
The ideal candidate will assist the dentist with various procedures and provide quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment- Take digital X-rays- Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications- 1 year experience in dental assisting- Ability to perform dental imaging and X-rays- Strong understanding of dental terminology and coding. Knowledge of Dentrix is a plus.
