Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and wellness-minded Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of dental assisting experience and a desire to contribute to our holistic approach to dentistry. While experience with Dentrix is preferred, we are willing to train the right individual who is eager to learn.
Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during patient exams and procedures
Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visits
Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and wellness practices
Help with administrative tasks, including scheduling and patient check IN.
Be a team player and assist where needed to keep the office running smoothly

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience as a dental assistant
Dental Radiology License
Hep B Vaccine
CPR certification
Experience with Dentrix software preferred (but not required – training available)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
A wellness-minded individual who values holistic practices
