OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures and a commitment to maintaining a sterile and organized environment.
Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience as a dental assistant
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Proficiency in using dental equipment and technology, including 3D scanners and Dentrix software.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Schedule:

Days: Tuesday through Thursday
Hours: Part-time, 8:30 - 9 AM to 4:00 - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
Utilize aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards.
Take and record vital signs, ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit.
Manage patient records using Dentrix software, including scheduling appointments and documenting treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging as needed during procedures.
