Job Description

Privately owned, family dental office is seeking an amazing dental assistant with strong clinical skills. We are currently looking for part-time candidates. Our office has a busy patient base already developed and many new patients each month. Ideally, we are seeking a dental assistant with experience.
Our office is fee for service and in-network with only one private insurance, with no HMOs, no Medicaid, and no state-sponsored plans accepted. No weekends are required! Our office is all up to date with paperless charting, digital x-rays, and much more. We have an excellent staff that work very well together and a team of dental assistants that support our team of dentists. Our clinical coordinator can also provide great mentoring or collaboration if needed.
Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

Assisting the dentist with a multitude of dental procedures.
Taking x-rays and using an iTero for digital impressions and case management.
People oriented and able to work as part of a team.
Educating patients on good oral hygiene practices and advising them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures.
Adaptable/flexible—enjoys a fast paced environment and learning new things.
Self-starter who works well with others, and can initiate and complete tasks with minimal direction.
Detail oriented and values all aspects of patient care, down to the smallest detail.
Knowledge of and adherence to infection control protocols is an absolute must.

Dental Assistant Requirements:

State license to practice dental assisting.
Proven experience working in a dental practice.
The ability to work as part of a team.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
CDA/ DANB certification a plus!
Experience with Dentrix a plus!

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
