Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide essential preventive dental care, educate patients on oral hygiene, and assist in the overall health of our patients’ teeth and gums.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar.
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ oral health, including taking dental X-rays.
- Assess patient conditions, documenting findings and developing appropriate treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition advice.
- Assist the dentist during procedures and provide necessary support to ensure patient comfort.
- Maintain and sterilize dental tools and equipment in compliance with hygiene standards.
- Record patient treatment information and maintain accurate dental records.
- Stay current with new dental technologies and techniques to enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Valid state dental hygiene license.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to patient care.
