Job Description
SMILES OHIO IS LOOKING FOR A DENTAL HYGIENIST TO JOIN OUR HOLISTIC, FEE FOR SERVICE OFFICE.
WEST CHESTER, OHIO
HOURLY RATE: $45.00 - $55.00/hour *For interested candidates, A commissioned compensation structure is offered, providing an earning potential up to $70.00+/hour.
Performance Expectations:o Recognize periodontal disease based on radiographic and clinical findings.
o Provide patient education regarding the disease process and whole-body health.
o Provide patient education regarding caries and diet.
o Take diagnostic quality images to assist during patient education and diagnosis.
o Provide exceptional preventive care, including but not limited to: scaling, polishing and flossing.
o Perform Non-surgical Periodontal Therapy according to the AAP guidelines and office procedure.
o Administer local anesthetic to patients when necessary.
o Appoint return re-care visits.

Qualifications:o Current RDH licensure.
o Current Local Anesthetic licensure.
o Current CPR certification.
Office Hours for this Position:
Monday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMTuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMWednesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMThursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Occasional FridaysOpen 3 weeks/month consistently
