Job Description
Dental Hygienist Tuesday and Alternate Saturday only, Chinese speaking preferred.
We're looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team! Youâll complete initial patient screenings, conduct dental cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations and procedures. Job seekers should have incredible customer service skills and a passion for providing excellent dental services. The hygienist is expected to take x-rays, set up, and clean up his or her own room. We have a high volume of Chinese-speaking patients so Chinese-speaking skill is a plus.
Compensation
$49 - $58 hourly Compensation:
$49 - $58 hourly Responsibilities:
Conduct initial screenings for patients to understand their oral health history
Give guidance to patients about how to have good dental care at home after undergoing an operation or procedure
Identify dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, or cavities so they can be treated as soon as possible
Work with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease
Use X-ray machines to take photos of the patientâs teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues
set up and clean the chair without assistance, however, assistance can be requested as needed and available
seeing 1 patient per hour block appointment
Qualifications:
Associateâs degree and certification in dental hygiene program required, higher levels of education are highly valued
Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
Superb customer service and communication skills
Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene
At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene
2 years of RDH experience needed
