Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and health during procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and the ability to work effectively with dental software. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in educating patients about oral health and maintaining accurate medical records.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and conducting oral examinations.
Clean teeth and provide preventive dental care, including scaling, polishing, and applying sealants or fluoride treatments.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed for diagnostic purposes and room turnover.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Provide care for pediatric patients with an understanding of their unique needs.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in using dental software systems is helpful
Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $42.00 - $52.00 per hour
