Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, medical records, and the ability to work effectively with children.
Duties

Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Take and develop medical imaging as needed for diagnostic purposes.
Record and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide education to patients regarding proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and treatment outcomes.
Stay updated on dental terminology and best practices in patient care.

Skills

Proficient in working within a dental clinic environment.
Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
Experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and the ability to engage effectively with children.
Strong communication skills for educating patients about their oral health.
