Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing and thriving dental practice!! The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care and assist in various dental procedures while promoting oral health.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene services and procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentist- Conduct oral health assessments, including taking patient histories and charting conditions- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-operative instructions- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Take and develop dental x-rays- Clean teeth, remove plaque, and tartar buildup- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications:- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Idaho
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar programs- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical coding, and HIPAA regulations- Familiarity with dental office procedures and infection control protocols- Ability to take vital signs and adhere to aseptic techniques
