Job Summary:Columbus Park Dental is seeking a skilled, personable, and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. Our practice specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry, offering a supportive and professional environment with a patient-focused approach. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care and promoting oral health for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Conduct oral health assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking X-rays.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care.
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed.
Collaborate with dentists to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix.
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and tools.
Qualifications:
Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of New York.
Minimum of 1ââ¬â2 years of experience preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Proficient in using dental hygiene equipment and software.
Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and compassionate demeanor.
Excellent communication and patient education skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
