Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and personable Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients with a focus on patient education, ensuring their comfort, and promoting oral health. This role requires a registered dental hygiene degree.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation review.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix for patient management and documentation.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Mentoring will be provided for our team members
Skills
Proficiency in general dentistry practices and procedures.
Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques is preferred.
Familiarity with dental office operations and patient management systems.
Knowledge of medical coding related to dental procedures is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, particularly in documentation review and infection control measures.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 ââ¬â 36 per week
