Job Description
Job SummaryClinch River Health Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care. A strong understanding of dental systems and proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix is essential.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft and Dentrix systems.
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and techniques.
Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist with a valid state license.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with medical coding related to dental procedures is preferred.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar dental management software.
Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
