Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the dentist and other staff to deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Assess patients' oral health by reviewing medical history and conducting preliminary assessments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of patient records, including medical records and medical imaging documentation.
Utilize dental software for scheduling, record-keeping, and patient management.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with dental office procedures, including iTero scanning is preferred.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing excellent patient care.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $46.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 ââ¬â 24 per week
