Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team.
This is a great opportunity, our employees are generally long termers.
We need part time, temps, and in 2025 a full time position will open.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. You will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Take and record medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant patient information.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans based on assessments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
Document patient treatments and maintain accurate medical records using Dentrix systems.
Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Familiarity with medical coding, patient assessment, and assisting techniques is a plus.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages.
