Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
Perform patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and document treatment plans in compliance with regulations.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to support diagnostic processes.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Experience

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices.
Familiarity with dental assisting duties is a plus.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is advantageous but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages.
A valid state license to practice dental hygiene is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
