We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during treatments. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and the ability to work collaboratively with dentists and other staff members.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients, including taking vital signs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
Utilize dental software system- Open Dental
Conduct patient assessments to identify potential oral health issues.
Support dentists during procedures through four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
Proficient in taking vital signs and conducting comprehensive patient assessments.
Knowledge of medical coding related to dental procedures is a plus.
Strong understanding of human anatomy as it relates to dental health.
Experience with Open Dental software systems is preferred.
Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively.
Excellent communication skills to educate patients about their oral health.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in clinical settings.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment focused on general dentistry.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $54.35 - $57.41 per hour
