Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and team-oriented dental hygienist to join our team. We are looking for someone who can work 2 days per week with possibly another day in the near future.
Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Take digital dental x-rays- Conduct perio screenings- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care- Administer local anesthesia as needed- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Open Dental- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive dental care to patients
Requirements:
- Valid state dental hygiene license- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures is a plus- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records- Ability to work well in a team environment
