Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to Fill in for pregnancy leave starting around first of February for 6-12 weeks. Also providing exceptional dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology and infection control practices, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in patient assessment, education, and the overall dental hygiene process within our clinic.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures on patients.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Document treatment plans and maintain accurate medical records.
Review documentation for completeness and compliance with dental office protocols.
Assist in infection control measures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Utilize dental systems effectively for scheduling, record keeping, and patient management.

Skills

Proficient in medical coding and familiar with dental terminology.
Strong understanding of infection control protocols within a dental clinic setting.
Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and efficiently.
Excellent documentation review skills to ensure compliance with office standards.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring as part of patient evaluation.
Strong communication skills to educate patients effectively about their oral health.
