Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Dental Patient Reactivation. This role is crucial in ensuring that our patients return for their scheduled dental appointments, thereby enhancing their oral health and maintaining the smooth operation of our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology and have experience in a dental setting, particularly in patient communication and reactivation strategies.
Duties
Contact patients who have not visited the clinic in a while to encourage them to schedule appointments.
Utilize effective communication skills to explain the importance of regular dental visits and address any concerns patients may have.
Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and update medical documentation as necessary.
Collaborate with dental receptionists and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient reactivation processes.
Familiarize yourself with our systems, including Dentrix, to efficiently manage patient information and appointment scheduling.
Assist in infection control measures as per clinic protocols during patient interactions.
Stay informed about endodontics and other dental procedures to provide accurate information to patients.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental clinic or as a dental receptionist is preferred.
Knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with medical documentation practices are essential.
Experience with X-Ray procedures is a plus.
Understanding of four-handed dentistry techniques can enhance patient interaction effectiveness.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for maintaining accurate patient records and follow-ups.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
