Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are hiring part time or full time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience with Open Dental software is a plus.
Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
