Position OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will help patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health while supporting a welcoming and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains.
Conduct thorough oral health assessments, identifying signs of oral diseases like gingivitis or periodontitis.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and the use of dental aids.
Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants to protect teeth from decay.
Take and review dental x-rays, assisting the dentist in diagnosing conditions.
Collaborate with the dental team to create personalized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Uphold strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of North Carolina.
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate and engage patients.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
Dedication to professionalism, ethics, and high standards of patient care.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Proficiency with dental software for record-keeping and treatment planning is a plus.
