We have a job opening for an enthusiastic dental assistant to join our private orthodontic practice in beautiful Rancho Santa Fe! We offer a work environment where our employees are truly appreciated for their professionalism, friendliness, and dependability.
This is a unique opportunity because you will be fully trained for both front office (phones, scheduling, financials) and clinical (chairside, labwork, sterilization) duties.
Experience in an orthodontic or dental office is preferred, but not required if you are a fast learner. We are willing to train the right person!
The successful candidate will be dependable and organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize. You should enjoy working with kids and possess a positive attitude!
Responsibilities will include:

Greeting and seating patients for treatment
Sterilizing instruments and disinfecting operatories
Intraoral scanning
Tying and untying archwires
Providing oral hygiene and post-procedure instructions
Cleaning and maintaining dental equipment and office
Answering phone calls using a multi-line phone system
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Processing payments and correspondences

Skills needed:

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Attention to detail
Organized
Ability to multi-task

The position is available for 4 days/wk. Salary commensurate with experience.
