Duties and Responsibilities
Performing exams and evaluating X-rays to determine a patientââ¬â¢s dental health status.
Developing individualized treatment plans to address dental health issues effectively.
Filling cavities, applying crowns, installing bridges and implants to repair or replace damaged or missing teeth.
Administering or prescribing medications to alleviate pain and aid in the treatment of dental conditions.
Interacting professionally with patients, providing guidance and education on oral health care practices.
Measuring and fitting patients for specialized dental appliances.
Maintaining comprehensive and accurate patient records to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental program.
Valid state dental license (or the ability to obtain one before employment starts).
Strong understanding of dental surgery procedures and diagnostics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
A commitment to adhering to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
