Our practice is looking for an exceptional Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. Duties revolve around conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth and advising patients on oral health and preventative care. The right candidate will assist the dentist's treatment plans for teeth and/or periodontal disease and handle dental emergencies. The right candidate should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages, You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and an eye for oral diseases and anomalies. If you have a steady hand and great bedside manner, we’d like to meet you. We stress prevention above all else. Our practice is highly relationship based and the right person will be able to forge relationships with patients who value and appreciate our care, attention to detail, and gentle touch. Ideal candidate will be a team player and able to contribute to other aspects of the practice to aid in growth.
Our clinic has been a fixture in Lexington, NC for over 20 years and has a great group of established patients. We have great established patients and are growing each day. Our goal is to provide the best possible patient experience and to build not on a work team but a family.
Experience: 2 years of Dental experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Prepares patients for dental hygiene treatment with a welcoming manner.
· Perform dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and strains from teeth and from beneath gum margins.
· Detects disease by complete oral cancer screening.
· Educate patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions.
· Document dental hygiene service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37.96 - $45.71 per hour
