Job Summary:We are seeking a Dental Assistant/ Sterilization Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be trained to manage sterilization of instruments and keeping sterilization logs for our busy dental practice. Assistant will also assist dentists in providing quality dental care to patients.
Responsibilities:

Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Maintain Logs for Sterilization
Prepare and turn over treatment rooms for patient examinations
Assist dentists during procedures
Take dental x-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
Maintain accurate patient records
New patient consultations

Skills:The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

Proficiency in infection control procedures (or willing to learn)
Positive Attitude and Team Player
Understanding of dental anatomy
Competency in X-Ray procedures
Proficiency in aseptic techniques
Ability to take vital signs and assess patients
