Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant (Extended Function Dental Assistant) to join our state of art practice in Jeannette, PA. We offer general and cosmetic procedures including Implant, Root canal, Denture, and cosmetic restorative procedure. Our patients are mainly with fee for service, state funded plans or major PPO plans
The ideal candidate will assist the dentist with various procedures and provide quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Perform tasks allowed by EFDA based on office needs- Take digital X-rays- Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications- 1 year experience in dental assisting and EFDA license in state of PA- Ability to perform dental imaging and X-rays with valid license- Strong understanding of dental terminology and coding. Knowledge of Eagle Soft is a plus.
