Our office is accepting applications for a full time dental assistant (Registered Dental Assistant is a ++) in our largest practice located in Somers Point (Atlantic County). Summary
As a Dental Assistant, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our dental practice, reporting directly to the lead dentist. Your primary responsibilities will include chairside assisting, managing dental terminology, and ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques. With a focus on general dentistry, your core skills will be complemented by your proficiency in EMR systems and radiology certification. You will also engage with patients, utilizing your knowledge in pediatric dentistry and vital signs to enhance their experience. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, including 3D scanners and X-ray machines.
Document patient information and treatment plans accurately in EMR systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, ensuring a comfortable experience.
Perform radiographic procedures and assist in various dental specialties such as prosthodontics and endodontics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
