Dental Assistant - Monument Dental - Unit 7 E, MONUMENT

General dental office looking for a dental assistant for 4 ½ days (the ½ day being every other Thursday 8-1:30), Monday- Thursday from 8 am to 5pm.
Our office is a private, family oriented, general dental practice located in downtown historic Monument CO. Our Ideal candidate has a strong work ethic who is interested in a long term commitment, loves helping people and is a reliable team player with a great attitude! We are a very relaxed office who believes the Patient and their care comes first.
Currently we are using Dentrix, and XV Remote digital Xray. We are also fully digital office so a basic knowledge of computers is a must. Also someone who has experience in answering phones and scheduling, taking payments is helpful.
Assistants with at least 3 years are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications: Current Dental Assisting and Radiology Certifications, Knowledge in HIPAA and Infection control regulations, Strong Communication and organization skills, Must be able to handle 2 columns a main column and an ER column. Our day is not overwhelming but busy.
Duties:
Assist during dental procedures, prepare rooms and clean rooms before and after procedures, take X-rays, making temps and retainers, packing cord, take impressions, dental charting, educate patient in Oral Hygiene, keeping up with HIPPAA compliance (ie: sterilization tests and reports), sterilization (keeping this up is a must!), place orders for supplies, keeping the back clean and organized, scheduling, taking calls and payments.
Benefits/Pay:
$23-25 per hour -based on experience and qualifications
