Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Perform infection control procedures in compliance with established protocols.
Take requested diagnostic X-rays, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups using Open Dental software.
Assist in endodontic procedures, restorative, crown and bridge as well as denture procedures.

Skills

Proficient in dental assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry.
Strong understanding of infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
Quick learner, friendly personality.
Proficient with taking X-rays.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
Ability to manage medical records accurately and efficiently.
Willing to learn, adapt easily to patient's needs.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
