Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our dental team in delivering high-quality care to our patients. This role involves assisting with various dental procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring that all patient records are accurately documented. The Dental Assistant will play a crucial role in enhancing the patient experience and ensuring smooth operation of the practice.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics procedures.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately in medical records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
Manage patient flow by ensuring timely communication with patients regarding their treatment plans.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
Experience in dental assisting is preferred, particularly in areas such as but not limited to general dentistry.
Familiarity with Dental terminology and documentation practices.
Knowledge of infection control standards and procedures.
Ability to take vital signs accurately.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate medical records.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
