Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team in a Monday-Thursday work week. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting orthodontic procedures. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. No previous experience required as we will train the right person in every aspect of the office.
Duties
Assist the orthodontist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
Utilize 3D scanners for capturing precise dental impressions and images.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Support four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Previous experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with medical imaging technologies and systems is advantageous..
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information and medical records.
