We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the dentist during dental procedures and ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients.
```Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing and arranging instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including taking X-rays, preparing materials, and providing chairside assistance
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history and treatment plans
- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's reception area when needed
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
```Qualifications```
- licenses in NY
- X-ray certification required
- Strong knowledge of dentistry procedures, instruments, and equipments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
