Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized environment while adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including endodontics and prosthodontics.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
Manage patient medical records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety guidelines for medical imaging.
Record vital signs and update patient information as necessary.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage the officeâs appointment systems efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is an asset.
Knowledge of medical records management, medical documentation, infection control protocols, and vital signs monitoring.
Familiarity with dental procedures, including endodontics and prosthodontics.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.

Pay: $16.35 - $17.05 per hour
