Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Perform medical imaging as required, including X-rays and other diagnostic tools.
Maintain patient records, including medical documentation and coding, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, assisting with the treatment of children and ensuring their comfort during visits.
Manage dental equipment and instruments, including cleaning, sterilizing, and organizing them for use.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Skills

Proficiency in medical imaging techniques.
Experience or knowledge in pediatrics and pediatric dentistry.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
Familiarity with prosthodontics procedures is a plus.
Experience using electronic health record systems such as Dentrix.
Knowledge of medical coding practices for accurate billing and documentation.
Ability to maintain organized medical records efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
