Job Description
Dental Hygienist position available to join our general dentistry practice in Doylestown PA.
Part time 1 or 2 days a week.
Mondays 8am-6pm and/or Fridays 8am-2pm. (hours are negotiable)
Previous dental experience is preferred but new graduates welcome.
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and patient comfort.
Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Document patient information accurately, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes using dental terminology.
Utilize Eaglesoft or similar systems for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing processes.
Stay updated on current dental practices, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, aseptic techniques, and infection control standards.
Skills
Proficient in four-handed dentistry techniques and infection control measures.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, dental terminology, and medical coding practices.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental office management systems is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Pay rate based on experience.
