Dental Assistant - Table Rock Oral Surgery - Boise, ID

Oral surgery practice located in Boise looking to hire a full-time dental assistant.
Desirable skill sets include taking Panos and Cone Beam CTs, chair side oral surgery assisting, IV anesthesia assisting, implant surgery, sterilization, inventory, basic maintenance of equipment. Oral surgery experience is a plus but not required.
Our normal day consists of extractions, implants, bone grafting, biopsies. We are a lower volume oral surgery office that emphasizes taking time to treat the patient right versus trying to stack the schedule.
Dr. O'Brien operates at St. Al's and St. Luke's and if the applicant desires, could assist on hospital cases as well.
Responsibilities

Assist during surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment through aseptic techniques.
Utilize dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Operate and maintain dental equipment, including 3D scanners and X-ray machines, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Assist with consultations and document patient information accurately in EMR systems; assist with medical records as needed.

This is a full-time position; we typically work 4 day work weeks with Wednesdays off and we end around 12 or 1 on Fridays.
