Job SummaryWe are expanding our team in a brand new completely renovated practice of 13 operatories. We are looking for a great person that not only excels in dental hygiene but also wants to create lasting relationships with our team and patients. We want a positive person that is looking for their forever work home to add to our growing modern group practice.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Take and develop radiographs (X-rays) as needed for diagnostic purposes.
Monitor vital signs and ensure patient comfort during treatments.
Work with pediatric patients to provide age-appropriate care and education.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements and practice policies.

Skills

Proficient in patient assessment techniques to evaluate oral health conditions effectively.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Familiarity with general dentistry procedures and terminology related to dental care.
Understanding of human anatomy as it pertains to dental health.
Experience in assisting during dental procedures with an emphasis on four-handed dentistry practices.
Ability to monitor vital signs accurately during patient treatments.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles for working with younger patients.
Familiarity with dental systems and medical terminology relevant to the field of dentistry.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
