Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for young patients.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe treatment environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to assist during various procedures, providing necessary support.
Stay informed about advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
Proficient in medical imaging techniques and familiar with pediatric dentistry practices.
Strong knowledge of Dentrix software for patient management and record keeping.
Experience in dental assisting is preferred, with a solid understanding of anatomy knowledge and medical terminology.
Ability to apply aseptic techniques and maintain infection control standards effectively.
Excellent communication skills to educate patients about oral health and hygiene practices.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in patient care and documentation.
