JOB DESCRIPTION
We are a multi-location private practice seeking a highly skilled (general) Dental Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, performing four-handed dentistry, dental charting, treatment planning and managing patient records. A successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of dental procedures and the ability to educate their patients. RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to perform patient assessments
Assist through four-handed dentistry
Maintain accurate patient records
Fabricate temporaries
Perform digital intraoral scans
Charting/treatment planning
Patient education

SKILLS

Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques
Familiar with dental terminology
Knowledge of HIPAA/OSHA regulations
Proficient with dental instruments
Dental radiograph certification (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Dentrix experience (preferred)

EXPERIENCE

Dental Assisting: 3 years (Required)
Registered/Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification
X-Ray Certification (Required)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
