Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to support various dental procedures and maintain an efficient workflow.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures.
Manage patient records, including medical documentation and medical imaging, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Perform tasks related to endodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry as required.
Maintain aseptic technique to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Operate dental equipment such as 3D scanners and assist in the creation of dental impressions.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.

Skills

Proficiency in using Epic software for managing medical records is preferred.
Strong understanding of four-handed dentistry principles.
Experience in endodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment.
Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
Ability to maintain aseptic technique in all clinical settings.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate medical documentation.

Pay: $20.43 - $21.90 per hour
Expected hours: 28 per week
