We are a close-knit, dedicated team who work harmoniously to create a positive workplace and experience for patients. We are looking for an organized and efficient Receptionist/Patient Coordinator to facilitate patient care.
At the Smile Effect, we treat complex dental issues which often involve multiple dental specialties. Our days are filled with providing dental care for patients: rebuilding worn down or collapsed bites, cosmetic dentistry, single or multiple tooth implants and restorations, full or partial dentures and more.
Responsibilities include:
Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
Answering phone calls and email correspondence.
Utilize dental coding to accurately document patient procedures.
Present treatment plans and ensure a smooth experience for patients.
Coordinate care with other dental specialists and close patient follow up to ensure they are smoothly progressing through treatment.
Explaining fees for services and offering options for payment or financing.
Accept patient payments for dental services.
Perform clerical duties such as maintaining patient records and updating information in practice software.
Skills required:
Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
Proven reliability and history of timely attendance, dependability.
Ability to maintain composure and professionalism when exposed to stressful situations.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner.
Job Type: Full-time non-exempt 32-40 hours per week. Hourly pay: $18-20+/hour depending on ability and experience.
