Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in the system.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment schedules and assist with front office tasks as necessary.
Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
Skills
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
Understanding of anatomy relevant to dental procedures.
Familiarity with dental terminology for effective communication within the team.
Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Dentrix is preferred.
Proficiency in taking X-rays and understanding radiographic principles.
Knowledge of prosthodontics and four-handed dentistry techniques.
Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Must have xray and dental assistant license.

Pay: $22.79 - $23.90 per hour
