Job Description
Job SummaryGeneral Dentist position available in our locations, Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, Glendale, Queens and Marine Park, Brooklyn.
A General Dentist who is strong in case presentation to patients and does comprehensive treatment planning. Providing appropriate dental treatment including regular cleanings, root canals(simple), surgical extractions, and cosmetic dentistry. Must be comfortable with implant restorations.
If you place implants that would be a plus but not required. We have hundreds of cases with no empty slots to schedule patients in(waitlist only).
Compensation will be discussed at time of interview.
We do offer a guarantee option.
Days and hours are negotiable, possibility of practicing in ALL locations is an option for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine oral health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and other restorative treatments.
Utilize medical imaging technologies to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive patient care through four-handed dentistry techniques.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and best practices in patient care.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic is preferred.
Strong skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and execution of complex dental procedures.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff alike.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $700.00 - $10,000.00 per day
