Job OverviewOur general dentistry practice is seeking a part-time RDH to join our team!
Hours:
Wednesdays 8 am -5 pm
Fridays 8 am - 3 pm

2 full time general dentists, 3 full time RDHs
As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing various clinical tasks, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health - this includes SRP when needed. Local anesthetic training is preferred, but not required.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants, fluoride treatments, Arestin.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient care activities accurately in Eaglesoft and maintain up-to-date patient records.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment for all procedures.
Stay informed about advancements in dental hygiene practices and incorporate them into patient care.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow aseptic techniques in all clinical settings.
