Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and personable Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in dental terminology and experience with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft. The Dental Receptionist will play a crucial role in enhancing patient service and maintaining smooth operations within the dental office.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively.
Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical coding and collection of necessary documentation.
Provide information regarding dental services and procedures to patients as needed.
Assist in managing patient flow to ensure timely service delivery.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Perform other administrative duties as required to support office operations.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role is required.
Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft , is highly desirable.
Knowledge of dental terminology and medical collection processes is essential.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Proficient typing skills for efficient data entry and record management.
