Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including children.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, utilizing aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Assess patient oral health by taking vital signs and conducting comprehensive patient assessments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, documenting treatment plans and progress notes.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care and support during various dental procedures.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental assisting techniques.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA standards.
