Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for promoting oral health.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planning, and polishing- Take dental x-rays- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials- Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs- Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques
Skills:- Proficient in using dental software such as Dentrix- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality- Excellent documentation skills to maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications:- Valid state dental hygiene license- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
Ideally have availability to work Monday and Wednesdays.We look forward to reviewing your application.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
