Job Description

Family dental office in Smithtown for 30+ years. Looking for a warm, high-energy addition to our outstanding team!
Responsibilities include:

Seating patients and preparing/disinfecting treatment rooms
Ensuring patient comfort during treatment
Verifying medical and oral health histories
Completing comprehensive periodontal evaluations and identifying oral conditions
Taking digital radiographs
Providing appropriate dental hygiene procedures and educating patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene
Using Dentrix software to maintain electronic progress notes and periodontal charting
Monitoring hygiene supplies
Proper sterilization and maintenance of dental instruments
Nitrous oxide analgesia and local anesthesia certifications helpful

Experience is helpful! Salary is commensurate with experience.

Monday 9-6 with lunch
Tuesday 1-7
Ability to expand hours over time! We look forward to meeting you!

Pay: $49.00 - $51.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
