Job Description
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures- cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, and applying fluoride treatments- Update and maintain patient records, including medical history and treatment plans- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality- Use Dentrix software to manage patient information and appointments- Maintain a clean and organized dental office
Experience:- Proficient in medical coding and terminology related to dental procedures- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
Skills:- good communication skills to interact with patients and dental team members- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document patient information- Strong organizational skills to manage appointments and maintain patient records- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
